A few months ago, I had the pleasure of treating another Reno chiropractor, when Dr. Porter came into my office. Over the course of his treatment, we learned that our approach to chiropractic was strikingly similar. Dr. Porter also shared that he was looking for a local chiropractor not just for his own treatment, but for the care of all his patients. With plans for a leave of absence from his practice to complete research for specific studies and write a book, Dr. Porter first wanted to find someone he trusted. I’m pleased to tell you that our shared approach to care and treatment made his decision a little easier, and I want to formally welcome all of Dr. Porter’s patients.
Finding the right chiropractor isn’t always an easy process. As Dr. Porter wraps things up to begin his sabbatical, I’d like to assure all of his patients that the chiropractic experience with me is very similar to the treatment and care you’ve received with him.
I treat many different patients for many different reasons, including but not limited to:
- Pain relief
- Muscle testing
- Nutrition counseling
- Soft isolated adjustments
- Neuro-emotional testing
- Allergy testing
- Advanced use of applied kinesiology
My background in chiropractic began as a child. I grew up in my father’s chiropractic office, and it was my favorite place to be. When I was in high school, I started attending chiropractic, nutrition and muscle testing seminars with my father, a tradition we still maintain today to stay current on new technologies and skills.
I graduated in 2000 with a degree in sports medicine from Westmont College and was accepted into the Palmer West Chiropractic College. During my final year in Palmer, I practiced with Drs. Matt and Mike Janzen, chiropractors for Ultimate Fighting champions, professional athletes and Olympians.
In addition to several annual seminars, I complete more than 30 hours per year in specialized nutrition studies and over 25 hours per year in additional studies.
As you consider your options for chiropractic care here in Reno, I hope we’ll have the opportunity to meet. To that end, I’m pleased to offer a free treatment appointment to all of Dr. Porter’s patients. My office is located off McCarran and Lakeside at 6165 Ridgeview Court, Suite A, in Reno, and you can schedule your free appointment online or by calling 775-525-5624.
It would truly be an honor to provide treatment and care to all of Dr. Porter’s patients. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet you.
